In Room 9 We Have Been Making Te Reo Comics.
The comics that we have been making are four parts long. Some of the words are in Māori. The comics are based on a story that explains how people are feeling in in Te Reo. By Mason.
Swimming
For the past 5 weeks we have been going swimming in the school pool. We've been practicing rolling onto our fronts from our backs and doing handstands, this helps improve our core muscles for when we might need them. Rm 9 had a lot of fun while doing this. Mrs Smith also brought in some jerseys and gumboots so we could see what it was like to fall out of a boat and be dragged down by weight. We had to try and get to the other end of the pool. Thankfully everyone made it across.
